Ads on Facebook More Effective Than Google?

Facebook now has 2 million active advertisers. This figure is up 33 percent from 1.5 million advertisers owned social networking company in mid-2014.

An increasing number of advertisers trigger an increase in revenue Facebook. In the fourth quarter, revenue rose 49 percent up from the previous year, to 3.85 billion US dollars or equivalent to Rp 49 trillion.

At a time when Facebook is “rising” voted places advertise, the performance of Google is decreasing. In fact, Google is known as the largest advertising platform in the world.

In 2013, according to eMarketer survey, Google’s advertising market share to 33.6 percent. This figure decreased to 31.1 percent in 2014. In contrast, the market share for advertising on Facebook has increased from 5.8 percent in 2013 to 7.8 percent in 2014.

Slowly but surely, it seems that Facebook would catch up with Google for advertising realm.

For example, Padragi Bracken, marketing manager in the company of toys Y-Volution, had planned to spend 60 percent of its budget for digital marketing on Facebook.

“Facebook pushing (ad) louder than on Google. Google may be king for advertising, but the price is more expensive,” said Bracken.

Step up to become a platform to advertise apparently not kidding. This can be seen from the launch of the “Ads Manager”. This feature allows advertisers to manage marketing campaigns, changed the budget and supply, access ad performance reports, as well as access the billing summary. It’s certainly easier for advertisers.
